Ein Quellensteuerpflichtiger lebte 2008 mit seiner Lebenspartnerin und dem gemeinsamen Kind im gleichen Haushalt in B. Sein Arbeitgeber rechnete die Quellensteuer nach dem Verheiratetentarif ab. Bei der ergänzenden Veranlagung wurde der Alleinstehendentarif angewendet. Der Mutter war der Verheiratetentarif gewährt.worden. Da der Pflichtige 2008 keine elterliche Sorge über sein Kind hatte, stand ihm der Kinderabzug nicht zu. Eine Tarifkorrektur erwies sich als zulässig, weil erst nach dem Ablauf der dreimonatigen Frist für das Verlangen einer förmlichen Verfügung im Rahmen der Veranlagung der Lebenspartnerin bekannt wurde, dass der Vater keine elterliche Sorge über das Kind hatte und ihm folglich der Kinderabzug und der Verheiratetentarif zu Unrecht gewährt worden war. Die im Unterhaltsvertrag festgelegten Alimente von Fr. 800.—bezahlte der Pflichtige nicht; auch machte er keinen entsprechenden Abzug geltend, weshalb bei ihm zu Recht keine Unterhaltsbeiträge abgerechnet wurden und der Alleinstehendentarif angewendet wurde (Verwaltungsrekurskommission, Abteilung I/1, 15.
